My dear ex-boss/ shepherd but always a treasured brother in the LORD, Philip,

Through the years you have been a model to me of what a committed man ought to be . Your love and devotion to the LORD inspires me- you are like one of those trees that stand strong through the storms, an oak of righteousness continually growing deep and broad sheltering people under your branches.  Thank you for your valuable part in my life and ministry as a single person, and your and Myrna's love for Craig and me and the kids.  I do celebrate you and all that the LORD has accomplished in and through your life! May His hand of favor continue to rest on you and yours! You may not live to double your age now :>) but may the rest of your earthly years be all about climbing and conquering the giants and mountains like what Caleb of old set his mind to and did!
