Dear Philip,

Congratulating you with the rest of the best, a Happy 65th Birthday!

Now you can take pride in the fact that you are suddenly senior. Crossing the line from having no security to social security if you are in this country. It also means retirement age has come of age, that all that tension of living young, can now be replaced with living in pension. If however living in retirement should be a problem, then in this or many other cultures, it is time my friend to embrace horticulture. 

All kidding and a few laughs beside, the Lord promises in Psa. 92:12-14 that “The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green.”

May the Lord continue to be your Horticulturist as you flourish in His garden beyond 65.
